The street tree in front of my house fell late at night into the street and the city of San Jose required that I remove it at my cost or they would get their contractor. I called Jose's company at 11:30pm. They picked right up, gave me a quick estimate, and came out within 30 minutes so I can avoid using the city contractor. José and his crew were very professional. They did a great job and quickly. My oak tree on the front lawn was splitting in two and after getting three quotes I hired him and they came the next day (a Sunday!). Great price and a great job! Their cleanup was great as well. Friendly crew. They are now doing more work for two direct neighbors and trimming the huge oak in my backyard (that job wasn’t urgent.) Definitively will rehire when needed. See more See less

We had an urgent situation where a tree on our property line was splitting in half. This is the third time A-1 has trimmed my 90ft tall palm trees- four of them. They always do a fantastic job, stay safe at those heights and clean up the droppings to original condition. I had a great experience with A1! I called several places the same day looking for estimates for stump removal. A1 was very professional and prompt, getting someone out the same day for the estimate. At the last minute, they were able to come that day to remove the stump. Their price was fair, they were very friendly and professional, they were careful of the garden, and cleaned up after themselves. My wife and I are happy with the job Jose and his crew did cutting and trimming our trees. We were worried about the newly patched areas of our lawn but they were able to do the job without doing any damage to the lawn. Also impressed by how thoroughly they grinded the stump.
